1. Once you join, I would like it if you were to post your character within a week. I do not like the idea of lurkers just wandering around forums, and the more characters played, the merrier!
2. Once you do post in the Pending section, please be patient. The administrators will get to your character as soon as they can, and the more you rush them, the more likely it is that your character will not be accepted.
3. Once you are accepted, you have a few options:
~ post as soon as possible at the Water Hole to join a pride. In your profile, please state if you want to become a member of one of the two established prides, or any others that are made in the process of playing.
~ post a claiming post in one of the open lands, if any are available. All claiming posts are to be over 200 words, and there will be a limit on the number of lands each player can claim.
~ post in the Open Grasslands if your character is a batchelor or currently unsure if they want to join a pride.
4. You can have as many characters as you can keep active, with two lionesses for every lion created. We have to keep the number of males down, since the number of territories will eventually dry up and we want to encourage more lionesses for each pride.
5. Please stay active! I can understand if you are absent or busy, or even a lack of muse; we all go through those times. However, I would appreciate it if you were to post in the Going Somewhere? board if you are leaving temporarily or permanently.
6. All posts are to be 100 words or more. I know we all have days where we can only squeeze out a small post, but please try to meet the mark.
7. No wolfspeak in posts is permitted. For example, use the words legs and eyes, not pillars and orbs. It gets very confusing sometimes to members who are not familiar with it.
8. No graphic mating is permitted on the boards. If you want to play out that, please do it by PM. However, fights, blood, and death are a part of this forum. If this makes you uncomfortable, do not join!
9. All conflicts between members will be dealt with by the administrators via PM; no fighting on the boards will be tolerated. Let one of us known if you are having a problem with another member.
10. All rules are subject to change, and a news announcement will be posted when changes are made.
